PTMS June 20-21

PTMS Wildcats,

We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  Last week was a great week at PTMS with a lot of excitement.  We completed our last Resaniisance giveaway for the year.  Students were able to place their well-earned tickets into drawings to win gift cards, PTMS spirit wear, Air Pods, a Nintendo Switch Console, and more!  Congratulations to all of our student winners!  We also had our yearly visit from Kona Ice Truck.  Each student and staff member were able to enjoy water ice and flavor it to their liking!  Our 7th-grade was also paid a visit from Mr. Softie as a class celebration.

The week ended with our 8th-grade students having their award ceremony, an 8th-grade breakfast (We thank all of the parents and guardians for their support of this great event!), and an amazing Stepping-Up Ceremony.  Congratulations to all of the students in the PTMS 8th-Grade Class of 2022!

This week will be the final chapter of the 2021-22 school year.  However, we are going to have several great events take place.  We will be having our final Wildcat Wildness event of the school year.  We look forward to seeing all of our Wildcats compete in some fun activities!  Our grades 5-7 students will also have their end fo the year award ceremonies and be acknowledged for their achievements!

On behalf of everyone at PTMS, we thank all of our parents and guardians for your support during the 2021-22 school year.  Have a safe and happy summer!

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  Last week, our school had a lot of events and experiences for our Wildcats!  On Monday, our Wildcats had Field Day which had 11 stations that consisted of STEM, Art, games, and more!  Our 8th-grade students went to the high school to gather information on their summer reading project and for 9th-grade orientation.  Also, the 8th-grade students enjoyed their trip to Funplex and went on rides and played games!  On Friday, our 5th-grade enjoyed their trip to the Wetlands Institute and enjoyed a hands-on experience learning about the various animals!  All of us at PTMS thoroughly enjoyed our class trips this year with our students and parent chaperones!  We thank all of our parents/guardians who were able to attend!

This week, we are looking forward to seeing our PTMS class of 2022 enjoy their Ceremony as they all end their middle school career!  We will also have our APSHS Seniors walk through our building one more time as a final farewell to our district!  Congratualtions to all of our graduates!

PTMS May 31-June 3

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope that everyone enjoyed their extended weekend!  Last week we had a lot of excitement at PTMS and many of our Wildcats took part in some exciting trips.  Our 7th-grade was able to attend their class trip to Philadlpehia.  The trip featured some site visits around the city and concluded with all of the students, teachers, and chaperones taking a boat ride on the Spririt of Philadelphia for a lunch and dance party. PTMS Renaisance student winners went on a bowling trip and were able to showcase their bowling skills.  The 8th-grade class was introduced to high school sports and what steps to take in order to become a member for one of the teams.

In addition, the PTMS Academic League Team came in second place at the Salem County Finals.  Great job to the students who showcased their academic talents!  Also, our PTMS Drama Club was able to put on their long awaited performance of The Wizard of Oz for two nights.  Our students performers did an outstanding job of bringing Kansas to PTMS.

PTMS May 23-27

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend!  Great job to our teachers and students last week for working so hard to complete our first NJSLA Testing in three years.  We look forward to seeing our student's results in the future!  In addition to testing, we had Mr. Dominque Willliams come to our school and talk to our grade 7-8 students about being positive role models and making good choices as they continue to move into young adulthood.  Also, our 6th-grade students went on their field trip to the Philadelphia Zoo.  All of the students and parents who went on the trip enjoyed themselves.

This week we are looking forward to many great things taking place inside and out of PTMS.  Our 7th-graders will be taking their trip, our Renaissance bowling trip, and our Drama Club put on their performance of The Wizard of Oz.  Our students have been working extremely hard to memorize their lines and are looking forward to showcasing their character for the play!

We hope everyone had a great weekend.   On Fridaay of last week, our 5th-grade students participated in a D.A.R.E.
