PTMS November 29-December 3

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope that everyone enjoyed their extended weekend and was able to spend time with their family.  We thank all of our parents/guardians for attending our yearly parent/teacher conferences.  PTMS had a great turnout which provided time for our teachers and parents to work together to help support our Wildcats in being successful!  We look forward to taking our continued partnership into the upcoming months!

As we head into the second marking period and the month of December, we want to remind our students to continue to work hard, take advantage of Z.A.P. (Zeros Aren't Permitted) during lunchtime, attend homework club for additional support, turn in work on time for grading/feedback, and communicate to their teacher if they are not sure about an assignment/lesson.  We have seen that students who model these work habits are having success in all of their classes!

PTMS November 22-24

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  This past Friday, PTMS conducted its first-ever Harvest Festival.  Although it was a little cold, this did not stop the excitement we saw from all of our students, staff, and the local community.  Each attendee received a pumping to paint, hayride, art activities, yard games, food, and more!  We thank everyone who was able to attend the event!  PTMS will use all of the proceeds towards future events for our Wildcats!

This week will be a short week for all students and staff in preparation for Thanksgiving.  On Monday and Tuesday, parents and guardians are encouraged to meet with their child's teachers for our yearly parent/teacher conferences.  The schedule was sent out via email.

On behalf of everyone at PTMS, we wish our students and our families a Happy Thanksgiving!  We hope that everyone enjoys this time with their family and friends!

PTMS November 15-19

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  While this past week was only four days, that did not stop everyone from working hard and having fun in the process.  Our Wildcats presented, enjoyed scavenger hunts, worked together to solve problems to escape the classroom and more during their class time!

On Monday, November 15, marking period one for the 2021-22 school year will end.  Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place on November 22-23, this is a great time for parents and teachers to work together to support our students in their educational journey.

This Friday, November 19 PTMS will host our Harvest Festival from 6-8pm.  We are looking forward to seeing our students and their families at this incredible event.  There will be activities, food, and more!  All proceeds of this great event will go towards future events for our Wildcats!

November 8-11

 PTMS Wildcats,

On behalf of everyone at PTMS, we want to thank all of our Veterans for their service in honor of Veterans Day!

We hope that everyone enjoyed their 5-day weekend.  This past week, all students and staff were able to enjoy some fun with our first Wildcat Wildness of the 2021-22 school year.  Students in all grade levels wore their PTMS Wildcat Team Shirt to show their P.R.I.D.E. for their grade level.  Our newest 5th-grade Wildcats did a great job of showing their school P.R.I.D.E!  Waldo The Wildcat was there to cheer on our students and witness the fun.  The 6th-graders won against the 5th-graders in their matchup of games.  The 8th-graders won against the 7th-graders in their competitions.  It was nice to see our students compete against one another and show such good sportsmanship.  We look forward to seeing Wildcat Wildness Part 2 in the future.  Stay tuned!
