PTMS March 30-April 3

PTMS Wildcats,
We hope you all enjoyed your weekend and continue to connect with us through our E-Learning.  Our teachers are working very hard to create interactive lessons to challenge and engage you while having some fun!  This past week we saw teachers swimming with Dori, students showcasing their artwork through virtual drawings, Zoom S.T.E.M. Poster Party highlights, teachers crashing into another teacher's learning session, and more!  We may be going through a challenging time, however, PTMS staff and students continue to show their P.R.I.D.E. during our E-Learning transition.

PTMS will be continuing after school clubs virtually.  See the schedule below to make sure you do not miss out.  Any questions, please contact the staff member below.

PTMS March 23-27

PTMS Wildcats,
This week was one of a kind due to our global epidemic.  As we continue to work together through this new way of learning and living, we appreciate everyone's hard work, flexibility, and communication.  Students, staff, and parents are learning and collaborating together on how to adapt to school from home and daily life.  This has provided numerous opportunities for innovation from our staff using multiple resources to meet the needs of our learners.  In addition, we have seen innovation from our parents and students as they continue to create their work and learning spaces around their homes.  We look forward to working together this week as we continue our E-learning.  Please make sure to take a walk, run, brain break, etc. as a way to break up your day.  We will get through this Wildcats!  Your PTMS family misses you!

PTMS March 16-20

PTMS Wildcats,

We had a great week at PTMS.  Our students worked extremely hard Monday-Thursday to demonstrate their knowledge on our MAP Test in Math and Reading.  On Tuesday-Wednesday, we had 14 students participate in the Salem County Science Fair.  PTMS had 5-first place winners, 1-second place winner, and 1-third place winner.  Also, one of our students had "Best in Show."  We are extremely proud of our Wildcats and appreciate the hard work of Mrs. MacNeill and Mrs. Wendell.  To cap off another amazing week, we celebrated our annual Wildcat Wildness.  This event had our students compete in friendly grade-level competitions.  Great job to all of our students!  The day was filled with fun and a lot of laughter.  Special thank you to Mr. Carr, Ms. Lower, and Mr. Turner for their organization of the events.

On Monday, we inducted 43 new members into our Pittsgrove Township Middle School National Junior Honor Society Chapter.  Each grade level practiced their dance for Wildcat Wildness as we prepare for this amazing school-wide event.  Our classrooms were filled with engaging activities from students analyzing the colors of Skittles in each bag, creating posters on STEM class, participating in a game show format using Gimkit, using our new collaboration tables in our Media Center and much more!  Our week ended on Friday by announcing our February Staff Member of the Month, Congratulations Mrs. Giordano!  We are looking forward to another awesome week at PTMS!!
