PTMS May 17-21

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  This week will bring us to less than 20 days remaining in the 2020-21 school year.  This year has been one full of surprises, changes, and the unknown.  However, our Wildcats and teachers continue to work hard to maximize every minute of instruction.  We look forward to seeing each of our Wildcats continue to grow individually as we approach the final days of school.

PTMS May 10-14

 PTMS Wildcats,

We want to start by wishing all of our mom's a Happy Mother's Day! We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  Last week, we were able to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week.  Students, parents, and administration did an outstanding job of thanking our PTMS Staff for their hard work and dedication to our students throughout the week.

This week will mark the middle of the 4th marking period.  We encourage all students to continue submitting their work on time, check PowerSchool, and finish on a positive note.  Also, take advantage of having your teachers work with you during office hours.  We have seen many students improve their grades, understanding of the material, and more during a short period with their teacher.

This Wednesday is Nurse Appreciation Day.  We thank Mrs. Nelson for her hard work and dedication to PTMS.  She has continued to go above and beyond in keeping us all safe and healthy!!

PTMS May 3-7

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and were able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful spring weather.  As we head into our last full month of school, we are excited to start off May by acknowledging our PTMS staff.  This week is "Teacher Appreciation Week."  With this year being extremely challenging on everyone, we encourage all of our Wildcats to think of something your teacher(s) did this year that really had an impact on you.  Take a moment this week and share that story with your teacher.  Sometimes it is the little things that make the largest difference.  This week on Wednesday is National School Cafeteria Worker Day.  Our cafeteria workers continue to go above and beyond in ensuring everyone has a great meal.  Thursday is National School Nurses Day.  This year our nurse, Mrs. Nelson has been instrumental in keeping us all safe and navigating the challenges our current pandemic has brought on all of us at PTMS.  We thank everyone for their service at PTMS.  We are grateful for your dedication and contributions to making our school such a positive place for our students.

PTMS April 26-30

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  This week will officially bring April to an end for the 2020-21 school year.  We want to remind all students to finish the school year strong and end on a positive note.  Below are useful strategies that you can use to help you be more successful with your academic learning.

1-Continue to check PowerSchool to make sure your work is turned in and on time.

2-Meet with your teachers during office hours.  We have seen many students improve their grades and understanding by meeting with their teachers in this small setting.

3-Remain actively engaged in your classes and ask questions when you are unsure.

4-Check your Google Classrooms and make sure you have turned in your work after you complete the assignment.

PTMS April 19-23

 PTMS Wildcats,

Last week was a great week at PTMS! We delivered our PRIDE Grams, Wawa gift cards, and balloons on Wednesday to our 100 Wildcat winners.  All of our Wildcats who were nominated received their PRIDE Gram in school and we mailed the rest to our virtual winners as a thank you for their hard work and who have continued to model their PRIDE!

As we head into the 4th marking period, we want to remind all of our Wildcats to finish the school year strong.  All of your teachers are here to help you reach your maximum potential.  Remember to take advantage of your teacher's office hours.  This is a great time to meet with your teacher in a small setting and get extra help, guidance, or feedback.  Let's finish the school year strong!

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  Tuesday will be the last day of the third marking period.  As we begin the fourth marking period, we want to encourage all of our Wildcats to finish this school year strong.  The 4th-marking period provides you with one final time to make a difference with your grades.  You can do it!

On Wendesday, our studnets will have a live assembly at 1:30pm to see the 100 winners for Waldo's Pride Grams.  These lucky winners will receive a Wawa Gift card, balloons, and their PRIDE Gram delivered to their house by a PTMS faculty member.
