PTMS September 25-29

 PTMS Wildcats,

     We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  This past week our Wildcats worked hard and completed their NWEA testing in reading and math.  Our PTMS Data Team will analyze the data of both assessments and identify students who need additional support.  These services will begin services on Monday, October 2.       

     This week PTMS after-school clubs will begin.  Our Wildcats can be a part of 19 different clubs.  Some clubs have filled faster than others, and in those cases, we have created a waiting list.  Once a student misses three clubs, we will begin to implement the waiting list.  We hope our Wildcats enjoy the club(s) they signed up for this year!

PTMS September 18-22

 PTMS Wildcats, 

  We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  Thank you to all of the parents and guardians who were able to attend our back to school night last Wednesday.  Club sign-ups are in full swing and we encourage all of our Wildcats to get involved!  This week we will notify any student who is on the waiting for list for a club that has reached capacity.  We will also finalize transportation routes for students taking the after club bus ride home.  We still have room in some of the clubs if you still want to get involved.  Permission slips are in the lunchroom!   

On Monday and Tuesday this week our Wildcats will be taking the NWEA Map Test in ELA and Math.  Please be sure to have your Chromeboks charged and prepared for school each day.  By having this done, it ensures yu are ready to start your day of learning.  Let's make it a great week!

PTMS September 11-15

 PTMS Wildcats,

   We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  It was great having all our students and staff back in the building last week.  The hallways and classrooms were filled with laughter and energy!  The first two days served as an essential opportunity to begin laying the foundation for a positive school year.  Each of our Wildcats learned about their classes and what is expected of them to be successful!  We look forward to continuing to lay this foundation this first full week.  All grade levels will have an assembly this week to review school rules, expectations, incentives, and more.

*Also, this week is our Back-To-School Night on Wednesday, September 13th at 6pm.  All PTMS parents and guardians will receive an email outlining the format on Monday, September 11.  Please make sure your email is updated in PowerSchool to receive all announcements pertaining to PTMS.    

PTMS June 12-13

 PTMS Wildcats,

We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  This week may only have two days Wildcats, but we are going to make the most of it as we say goodbye to the 2022-23 school year.  Our 8th-graders will have their end-of-the-year BBQ, Field Day, honor roll assemblies, classroom activities, and the Kona Ice Truck will be visiting PTMS for each student to get their own custom water ice.

On behalf of the faculty and staff at PTMS, we hope everyone has a safe healthy summer.  We look forward to seeing our Wildcats back in September!

PTMS June 5-9

 PTMS Wildcats,

  We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  We are looking forward to another great week at PTMS as we wind down the final 7-days of school for the 2022-23 school year.  This week Monday-Thursday will be the final full days for this school year.  Friday will be the first of 3 consecutive half days for all PTMS students.  Our 8th-graders will have a busy week in their final full week at PTMS before preparing to move on to high school.  This week the 8th-grader class will have their class trip, a brief orientation at Schalick High School, and take part in Ceremony to celebrate their completion of middle school.  We look forward to celebrating the PTMS Class of 2023!

PTMS May 30-June 2

 PTMS Wildcats,

   We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  It is hard to believe that we have reached the final 11 days of the 2022-23 school year.  This week grades 6 and 7 will take part in their class trips.  Our 5th-grade students will be receiving their certificates of completion of the LEAD Program (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) led by Denee Angelo of the Salem County Sherriff's Department.  We thank Ms. Angelo for coming in over the last 15 weeks and working with our 5th-grade students.

PTMS May 22-26

 PTMS Wildcats,

  We hope that everyone enjoyed their weekend.  There is a lot of excitement heading into this week around PTMS.  On Monday, our 5th-grade students will take part in their grade-level trip.  On Thursday, Mr. Softie will be coming to PTMS to provide ice cream to 250 students as part of our Renaissance Program.  Wildcats, be sure to turn in your "Green Tickets" with your first and last name on it.  These will be used to select our winners to receive a free ice cream!  Also, on Thursday, PTMS will host our Art Show and Drama Production showcasing our student's talents.  Friday will be an early dismissal for students as we close out our week and head into3-day Memorial Day weekend!
