We had a busy week at PTMS. It is hard to believe that in one week we are going to be on our winter break. This past week all of our students took the second round of their MAP Assessment in Math and Language Arts during our Thrive period. Our RTI Interventionist will be analyzing this data to create our groups for the second cycle of RTI. On Wednesday, we had our 1st Holiday Family Fun Night. Families were able to participate in various activities including coloring, games, selfies, escape room, food tasting, and more while learning about other culture's holiday traditions.
This upcoming week looks to be an exciting week as well as we close out the 2019 year. Starting on Monday, we will be implementing school-wide character education lessons to enhance our student's knowledge on how to create a positive school community, respect, justice, citizenship, and responsibility for self and others. We are looking forward to continuing to help our students thrive in between our school walls and beyond. Also, we will have brief assemblies to acknowledge our students who achieved honor roll for the first marking period, a magic show, student caroling, and more!
