PTMS Wildcats,
We hope everyone has a great weekend and were able to get outside for some fresh air. This past week we celebrated Administrative Professional Day on Wednesday for Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Bucolo. PTMS thanks both of these ladies for everything they continue to do for our school. We also had some students demonstrate their creative talents with some of the STEM activities, art activities, and more this past week. See some of the creations from our Wildcats below. It is hard to believe that this Friday will be the first day of May. As excitement comes with the "Cinco De Mayo," please check out the virtual tour below. Also, this Friday will mark our district's first "Feel Good Friday." Below is a summary of this day as stated in Dr. Hoopes's message.
Feel Good Friday: Our district is supporting and encouraging remote learning
planning and professional development days as well as time to step away from devices to catch
up on various tasks for students and teachers. No new learning activities will be pushed out
to students on Fridays. The focus of this day for students will be time to work on projects,
assignments, or optional activities that have been provided throughout the week. It is also time
for students to step away from their screens if their work is completed, or they are able to meet
assignment deadlines. The important note for this day is that no new learning activities will be
pushed out to students on this day. The focus of this time for our staff will be to ensure
continued alignment of instruction and continuity of instructional experiences for learners.
Teachers will be engaged in their continued work to support opportunities to meet remote
learning goals for our students.
