PTMS Wildcats,
We hope that everyone enjoyed their 4-day weekend. We have now completed 100 school days for the 2021-22 school year. Also, last week we celebrated our Week of Kindness in which we had a daily theme to promote kindness around the school. Students had access to a Google Form to highlight a Random Act of Kindness. The form had 45 responses which highlighted random acts of kindness around PTMS.
As we head into the final 80-days, we are asking parents and guardians to please talk with your child about cell phones, smart watches, and other devices. Pittsgrove Township Middle School and District recognize the importance of communication and collaboration. Each student is provided a device to be productive in the classroom. To keep the focus on academics and reduce unnecessary distractions, Pittsgrove Township Middle School has a no cellphone and other device policy in place. All devices are to be away and turned off during the school day. If a parent or guardian need to get a hold of their child, please call the school and we will provide the message to your child. We also have a phone in the main office for students to use to call parents/guardians as needed. We thank everyone for their cooperation with this procedure.
